NEW NEXUS PRODUCT TARGETS MORE ROOM NIGHTS FOR HOTELS

Nexus, a leading provider of sales management solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced the launch of TargetworX, a product that enables hotel chains and franchisors to identify and capture new business by leveraging the sales potential of the entire portfolio. The system effectively offers an efficient, automated solution to a cross-selling process that is typically handled via emails and spreadsheets.

The TargetworX application works by allowing hotel chains to present qualified business opportunities to their properties based on client relationships drawn from across the group. Hotels can browse through the opportunities and then respond to those which they believe have business potential for them by developing a simple business case and submitting it to the hotel group’s program manager for review and presentation to the client. The system has been designed to improve both the quality of information and the speed of communication between national or regional sales teams and hotels in order to improve the chances of including more hotels in more client hotel programs. Pre-defined flags ensure that all parties know the current status of each opportunity and a full suite of reporting options is available to the sales teams. TargetworX is also fully integrated with Nexus RFPworX and ShareworX so that a hotel submitting a successful business case in TargetworX will automatically be presented for inclusion in the client hotel program.

Choice Hotels International, Inc. has been using TargetworX for several weeks and John Lancaster, the company’s Director, Global Sales Sourcing and Solutions believes they are already beginning to see the benefits of the new system: “Every Choice Hotels® brand location is important to us and we’re always looking for ways to deliver more business.
