Nexus today announced a significant expansion in the number of its hotel group clients, adding five further chains to its hosted sales management platform for 2011. The new additions include Barcelo Hotels and Resorts of Palma de Mallorca, Spain; HMH Hospitality Holdings of Dubai, UAE; SC Continental Hotels of Bucharest, Romania; Qubus Hotel Management of Wroclaw, Poland and Axis Hotels & Golf of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. 

Nexus now supports over 9,000 properties across a product suite that provides hotels with solutions for salesforce automation, sales planning and contract (RFP) management. 

Says Geoff Andrew, Nexus’ Managing Director: “It’s very encouraging to see that more and more hotel groups are recognizing the benefits of deploying sales management tools that are purpose-built for the hotel industry. We expect to grow our hotel base by a further 40% this year, assisted by a general strengthening of global demand for hospitality and a growing trend toward hosted solutions.”
