Germany’s Extended Stay specialists, The Living Hotels, has chosen Nexus as its preferred partner for handling negotiated rates starting with the 2011 rate season. The Nexus system will provide The Living Hotels with a quick and easy way to solicit rates and information from its properties and then maximize the accuracy and speed with which the hotel group can communicate bid responses to its Corporate and Consortia clients.

The RFP (Request For Proposal) process is an annual event for hotel groups, with the number of accepted bids having a direct impact on sales revenue for the following year. The Nexus system will give The Living Hotels a high degree of control over the RFP process, support the chain’s rate strategy and provide comprehensive reporting capabilities. Hotels will be able to respond to bids in less than five minutes.

The Living Hotels is the first global cooperative sales and marketing venture to allow electronic sales and marketing specifically for the long-stay segment . Prof. Dr. Max M. Schlereth, CEO at The Living Hotels, comments, “As we expand over the next few years we plan to have one system that allows us to stay in control of all rate negotiations and at the same time provide us with a clear view of all our accounts, our properties and their associated activities.
