VILLAGE HOTELS RETURNS TO NEXUS FOR MANAGING RFP PROCESS

Village Hotels, one of the UK’s most innovative and cutting-edge hotel chains with 22 properties, has chosen Nexus as the platform to manage its bid responses for Corporate and Consortia hotel programs worldwide. The decision signals a return to Nexus after a brief period with another provider.

Village, a division of De Vere Group PLC, has developed a reputation for combining affordable accommodation with chic design and advanced guest room technology, making the business traveller a particularly important target market. Remarks Ian Thomas, Village Hotels’ Sales Director:

“The great thing about the Nexus system is that its functionality is focused solely around the needs of hotels and hotel groups. It gives us the tools to effectively manage the negotiation process with corporate accounts which is crucial for us as part of our overall sales strategy.
