Nexus World Services, one of the hotel industry’s leading providers of sales management systems, signalled its growth ambitions today by announcing the addition of a new sales and support manager based in London. Catherine Conte joins the Nexus team after three years as a Nexus client with Design Hotels in Berlin. 

Conte’s primary responsibility will be to support existing clients, particularly in Europe where Nexus has seen significant growth in the past two years. Nexus’ Managing Director, Geoff Andrew says, “We’re delighted to introduce someone of Catherine’s experience and talent to the Nexus team. She has worked with our system as a client for a number of years and that gives her a huge advantage in relating to the needs of hoteliers.” 

Conte, who starts in her new position this week, adds: “I’m very excited to be joining Nexus after working so closely with the team in my previous role. I’ve always been impressed not just with the technology but with the sense of community between Nexus and its hotel clients. I hope I can continue to build on the excellent reputation that Nexus already has in the market.” 

Andrew comments further: “Despite the difficult conditions we fully expect to continue growing in 2010 and Catherine is only the first of a number of investments we plan to make this year.”
