FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE International hotel group The Doyle Collection has chosen Nexus’ HotelworX platform to support its international sales team. Launched during the summer, HotelworX is a new sales force automation (SFA) system designed by Nexus specifically for the hotel industry. The system enables The Doyle Collection sales managers to plan and track activities, manage clients and collaborate across regions. It also integrates with the Nexus RFP (Request For Proposal) contracting applications. Head of Sales and Revenue for The Doyle Collection, Ms Oonagh Cremins commented, “We are currently undertaking a programme of substantial investment in the development of a luxury hotel portfolio and the repositioning of our brand to reflect this move in to the luxury segment. It is therefore imperative that we equip our sales team with the right tools to capitalize on all revenue generation opportunities which this change in product and proposition will create. The HotelworX application checks all the right boxes because it’s easy to use and enables us to share information effectively regardless of location. The fact that the team has immediate access to the status of all their contract negotiations is an added bonus.” HotelworX is a Rich Internet Application based on Flash technology that gives desktop performance from an online application. It was developed by Nexus to complement its existing Corporate and Consortia RFP modules and its group sales lead system, GroupworX. One of the biggest challenges with any sales management system is actually getting sales people to use it on a regular basis so that information stays current and useful.
